Partnership Manager – Mooroopna  Part time: 0.5/0.6

The Colman Education Foundation is seeking an amazing person to join the Our Place team, as a Partnership Manager.

Our Place is an initiative of the Colman Education Foundation, working in partnership with the Department of Education to establish the Our Place approach at 10 state school sites across Victoria. The Our Place approach is outcomes focussed and built around the key elements that evidence and experience shows are effective.

The partnership manager oversees the implementation of the Our Place approach in the Mooroopna Primary School site. This role is the lynchpin between the central Our Place team and staff working on site and the Our Place representatives at the site.  With responsibility for managing the partnership on behalf of Our Place on site, this role works directly with the Principal, senior members of partner organisations and local stakeholders.

This role manages the Our Place staff on site, providing leadership, support, professional development and direction. Working with site staff, the partnership manager is responsible for ensuring effective site implementation planning and project delivery and also provides regular reporting on site progress.

We believe that making local schools the hub of a whole community is one of the best ways to enable long lasting change in communities experiencing entrenched disadvantage.

Our Place staff are the facilitators and enablers for integrated, place-based service delivery, using our expertise in building relationships, making connections, understanding and delivering on community aspiration and developing outcomes-based plans to drive action and innovation.
