Talking to the Our Place Community Facilitator gave me confidence, to have someone who not only listened to me, but believed that I could do it and secure a job. Our Place could support me when I didn’t have anyone else to rely on, made an incredible difference.

Site Priorities
1. Address developmental gaps and improve school attendance
- Increase participating in oral language programs.
- Strengthen relationships between kinder and school educators.
- Increase in children completing their MCH visits.
- Reduce the number of children arriving at Prep requiring new referrals to services.
- Increase in children attending a full school day every day.


2. Empower parents to support their child's education and development.
- Engage new parents in initial conversations and activities supporting early learning.
- Encourage parents to engage in early developmental programs by the time their children start school.
- Establish a network of parent champions who share knowledge, connect others to services and co-design engagement activities.
3. Develop a place-based approach to care and data-sharing.
- Families receive timely and appropriate NDIS support.
- Reduce time and effort required to gather relevant information about families and children.
- Ensure families and service providers have timely access to relevant information when assistance is needed.
- Reduce the number of children arriving at Prep requiring new referrals, due to earlier identification and support.
