Community Room
Doveton College
62 Tristania Street, Doveton
While being a new parent brings so much joy, it can also come with many challenges and brings about feelings of loneliness, anxiety, exhaustion and stress. Having a supportive and informative community around can make all the difference.
Take a social outing with your baby and come together with other first-time parents and carers and build new friendships, share experiences and ideas, gain knowledge and most importantly, support one another.
Topics covered include:
- Transitioning to parenthood and self-care
- Connecting with your baby, sleep and settling support
- Play, development and safety
- Introduction of solids and teething
- Returning to work, childcare options
- Casey City resources and community services
- Much more!
What to bring
Bring a blanket or mat to place your baby on, and items for your baby that you would normally take on an outing.
How to join
Speak with your Maternal Child Health Nurse or contact the Central Booking Line on 9705 5590. Alternatively you can reach out to the Our Place Team.
